Bank of China's $40 Billion MTN Programme Set for Hong Kong Listing

On August 24, financial market news reported that Bank Of China Limited issued an announcement today stating that its $40 billion medium-term note (MTN) programme, announced for listing on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited on April 27, 2026, has filed an application with the exchange.

The bank plans to issue notes under a fiscal agency structure in the future. The $40 billion MTN programme under this fiscal agency structure will be listed solely for the purpose of offering debt securities to professional investors over a 12-month period starting from August 24, 2026.

The listing of the programme is expected to become effective on August 25, 2026.
