Xinjiang Zhongtai Jinhui Zhaofeng Industrial Park 200 MW Solar EPC Project Passes Final Inspection

The 200 MW photovoltaic EPC project at the Xinjiang Zhongtai Jinhui Zhaofeng Industrial Park, constructed by China Railway Industrial CREC Science and Industry, has recently passed its final acceptance inspection. Located in Baicheng County, Aksu, Xinjiang, the project covers an area of 7,190.76 acres and features an integrated "solar plus energy storage" design. It includes the construction of a 110 kV booster station and grid connection lines. CREC Science and Industry managed cross-disciplinary tasks such as civil engineering, installation, and electrical commissioning through the EPC general contracting model. During construction, drones were utilized for inspections to enhance quality control and effectively address challenges associated with building in the Gobi Desert. Once operational, the project will replace traditional coal-fired power generation with clean solar energy, saving approximately 112,200 tons of standard coal annually and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 306,000 tons per year. This initiative provides strong support for the region's "dual carbon" goals.
