Aug 11

On 11 August 2026, BASICSEMI (BASiC Semiconductor Co., Ltd.) announced that its board approved a proposed application for full circulation of 16.76 million unlisted domestic shares, representing 5.51% of the company’s total issued share capital.

The plan will convert these domestic shares into H shares and seek their listing and trading on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong. Implementation remains contingent on receiving (1) a filing notice from the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) and (2) listing approval from Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited.

In line with the company’s articles of association and applicable PRC regulations, shareholder approval at a general meeting is not required for the conversion. As of the announcement date, BASICSEMI has not yet submitted the application to the CSRC nor the listing request to the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.

The company will issue further disclosures as regulatory filings progress. Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in BASICSEMI securities.
