Honor's collaborative watch with Zhang Xue Motorcycle, the Honor Watch 6 Plus Zhang Xue Motorcycle Edition, is scheduled for an official launch at the BW2026 exhibition on July 10. This marks the first co-branded product since Honor's partnership announcement with Zhang Xue Motorcycle in April of this year.
The collaboration watch is built upon the foundation of the Honor Watch 6 Plus, which was released in May. It retains the core features of long battery life and health monitoring while enhancing its sporty and trendy appeal through a dedicated motorcycle mode and customized design elements, positioning it as a scientific sports smartwatch tailored for motorcycle enthusiasts.
In terms of design, the Honor Watch 6 Plus Zhang Xue Motorcycle Edition deeply integrates racing elements to create a unique aesthetic. It comes with a custom motorcycle-themed box, a special startup animation, a distinctive engine sound effect for activating the motorcycle mode, and multiple watch faces featuring Zhang Xue Motorcycle videos. Functionally, the exclusive motorcycle riding mode allows for real-time monitoring of riding speed, heart rate, and route tracking. After setting a speed threshold, the watch provides three escalating vibration alerts for overspeeding. Upon completing a ride, it automatically generates a comprehensive data report and can create a motorcycle-themed poster with one click to share the riding moment.
Regarding battery life, the Honor Watch 6 Plus Zhang Xue Motorcycle Edition is equipped with an industry-first 1000mAh Qinghai Lake battery. It offers up to 35 days in long-endurance mode, and its dual-frequency independent six-star GPS supports professional sports mode for up to 42 hours of continuous operation. Additionally, it supports over 120 sports modes and comprehensive health functions, including 24-hour blood pressure monitoring and sudden death risk screening.
Overall, the Honor Watch 6 Plus Zhang Xue Motorcycle Edition leverages Honor's self-developed hardware and software technologies to address key concerns for motorcycle enthusiasts, such as battery life and sports functionality. Simultaneously, through customized elements from Zhang Xue Motorcycle, it fulfills the emotional value associated with motorcycle aesthetics.
In April of this year, Honor announced its role as the chief strategic partner for Zhang Xue Motorcycle and the World Superbike Championship (WSBK). Previously, Zhang Xue Motorcycle made history by winning the WSBK Portuguese round, breaking a decades-long monopoly by international giants in that category. The collaboration between these two brands, both rooted in self-developed technology, is expected to jointly advance the globalization and premium positioning of Chinese brands. The launch of this co-branded watch signifies a deeper collaboration between the two parties, extending beyond previous event IP cooperation into the realms of product and technology synergy.
