Hiap Hoe Shareholders Approve FY2025 Results and 1.0-Cent Final Dividend at Apr, 30 2026 AGM

Hiap Hoe Limited held its Annual General Meeting on Apr, 30 2026, where all seven resolutions on the agenda were passed by poll.

The meeting adopted the Directors’ Statement and audited financial statements for the financial year ended Dec, 31 2025.

Shareholders approved a final dividend of 1.0 Singapore cent per ordinary share (tax-exempt one-tier) for FY2025.

Executive Chairman Mr Teo Ho Beng and Lead Independent Director Mr Chan Kum Onn Roger were re-elected to the board. Directors’ fees of 0.145 million Singapore dollars for FY2025 were sanctioned.

Ernst & Young LLP was re-appointed as external auditor until the next AGM, with the board authorised to fix its remuneration.

Investors also backed an authority allowing directors to issue new shares and convertible securities up to 50% of the company’s issued share capital, with a 20% limit for non pro-rata issues, valid until the next AGM.

No queries were received on the AGM resolutions ahead of the meeting. During a management presentation, executives addressed shareholder questions on operating costs, Orchard Towers redevelopment considerations, and the company’s gearing level, affirming that net gearing stands at about 42% of total assets and remains “manageable.”
