Tech Supply-Chain Price Hikes Spread

Samsung plans a new round of memory-chip price increases in Q3 2026, targeting about a 20% q/q rise, Korean media report. Intel on July 6 confirmed price hikes for selected consumer Core Ultra chips and Xeon server processors. Shengquan Group will raise prices for PPO, PPE, OPE and MPPO oligomer products by 15–20% from July 13. Kingboard Laminates on July 6 notified customers of a 10–15% price increase on certain PCB laminate products, effective on orders received from today.

RTX 5070 wholesale prices rose this week to 4,850–4,980 yuan, roughly +50 yuan w/w; some retail transactions exceeded 5,000 yuan. Redmi enacted a second price hike this year: K90 +200 yuan; Note 15 series +300 yuan. Offline retailers report daily price moves for Lenovo, HP, Asus and Acer PCs, with some models up over 1,000 yuan.
