Chengdu Expressway Co., Ltd. announced that subsidiary Chengwenqiong Expressway Company has signed a supplemental agreement with the Dayi County People’s Government, raising the total compensation for land requisition and relocation on the Dayi County section of the Chengwenqiong Expressway Expansion Project to RMB690.82 million from RMB389.58 million.

The increase stems from an expanded construction scope approved in the latest design drawings, which adds RMB301.25 million in estimated compensation.

Payment terms for the additional sum are structured as follows: • 80% (RMB241.00 million) within 30 days of a payment request following the agreement’s signing; • 10% (RMB30.12 million) after more than 80% of the required land within the county is delivered; • The balance upon completion of all land-use procedures and third-party verification of the final settlement amount.

The board stated that the supplemental agreement maintains the original compensation standards, introduces no new commercial risk, and secures land in line with the project schedule. Under Chapter 14 of the HKEX Listing Rules, the transaction is classified as a discloseable transaction, requiring public reporting but not shareholder approval.
