FIT HON TENG (06088) has announced its interim results for the 2026 fiscal year, posting revenue of $2.496 billion, representing an 8.3% increase year-on-year.
Profit attributable to owners of the company reached $38.097 million, a 20.9% rise compared to the same period last year, with earnings per share coming in at 0.54 US cents.
Revenue from the smartphone end-market grew by 2.9%, primarily driven by increased overall sales of premium smartphones from brand-name companies. The cloud networking infrastructure end-market saw a significant 55.8% revenue increase, attributed to heightened demand for AI, which boosted server market requirements and led to higher shipments of copper-based component products.
Conversely, the computer and consumer electronics end-market experienced a 20.6% revenue decline, mainly due to shortages of upstream components such as memory chips. The automotive end-market reported a 6.2% revenue drop, linked to the overall contraction of the domestic electric vehicle market in the US and strategic adjustments by key customers in their EV businesses.
Revenue from the system end-product market increased by 14.9%, supported by robust demand for brand-name customers' classic white EarPods wired headphones.
