Want Want China Holdings Limited disclosed that it repurchased 0.50 million ordinary shares on 21 July 2026 via on-exchange transactions at HK$3.52–3.53 each, spending HK$1.76 million.
Including this latest tranche, repurchases conducted between 15 and 21 July now total 3.14 million shares at an average price of approximately HK$3.45, representing 0.03% of the company’s 11.79 billion issued shares. Aggregate consideration for the July series amounts to about HK$10.85 million. All repurchased shares are intended for cancellation and remain uncancelled as of 21 July.
The buybacks form part of the mandate approved on 26 August 2025, which authorises Want Want China to repurchase up to 1.18 billion shares. To date, the company has acquired 13.12 million shares under this mandate, equal to 0.11% of the share base at the approval date.
Following the latest transaction, the total number of issued shares remains unchanged at 11.79 billion. Under Hong Kong listing rules, Want Want China is restricted from issuing new shares until 20 August 2026, 30 days after the most recent repurchase.
