Bank Of Qingdao Co.,Ltd. (03866) has announced that its board of directors received a resignation letter from Mr. Wang Zhuquan. Due to personal work reasons, Mr. Wang will no longer serve as a candidate for independent non-executive director of the ninth board of directors, effective March 25, 2026. On March 26, 2026, the board reviewed and passed a relevant proposal, agreeing to nominate Mr. Zhang Shixing as a candidate for independent non-executive director of the ninth board of directors. Mr. Zhang's appointment as an independent non-executive director of the bank is subject to review and approval by the bank's shareholders' meeting. Following approval by the shareholders' meeting, his qualification for the position must be submitted to the Qingdao regulatory bureau for final approval. His term will commence from the date his qualification is approved and will last until the end of the ninth board of directors' term. The board also agreed to appoint Ms. Chen Shuang as a member of the board nomination committee, while Mr. Wu Xianming will step down from the board nomination committee, effective March 26, 2026. As Mr. Fan Xuejun intends to resign from his positions on the special committees under the ninth board of directors, the board agreed to appoint Mr. Zhang Shixing as chairman of the board audit committee, member of the board remuneration committee, member of the board nomination committee, and member of the board connected transaction control committee. These appointments will take effect upon regulatory approval of Mr. Zhang's qualifications.
