Remitly Global, Inc. (RELY) shares surged 6.14% in after-hours trading on Wednesday, following the release of the company's second-quarter financial results that significantly exceeded analyst expectations.
The company reported earnings of $0.93 per share, crushing the consensus estimate of $0.13 by over 600%. Revenue came in at $495.156 million, ahead of the $485.4 million estimate, and adjusted EBITDA reached $114.7 million, surpassing the $88.3 million forecast. Net income stood at $205.9 million, while operating income was $66.681 million.
Remitly also raised its full-year 2026 outlook, citing record quarterly results, which further fueled the after-hours rally. The strong performance was driven by a 20.23% increase in sales compared to the same period last year.
