GHW INTL (09933) has released its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, reporting a significant jump in profitability. The group recorded revenue of RMB 2.233 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 20.26%, with profit attributable to shareholders of the company reaching RMB 29.389 million, up 317.69% from the prior corresponding period. Basic earnings per share stood at RMB 0.031.

The company attributed the substantial profit increase to a notable expansion in gross profit, which climbed 46.3% from approximately RMB 171 million to RMB 250 million. This growth was primarily driven by the strong performance of its methylamine industry product line, particularly choline chloride and betaine, as well as its Jinhaiwei new materials products, with polymeric MDI being a key contributor.

The improved results were largely supported by higher average selling prices for these products, coupled with successful procurement strategies for trading goods, which together bolstered the company's overall profitability during the period.
