Key Player in Precious Metal Powders and Pastes: Sino-Platinum Subsidiary Leads Industry

Deep News
Aug 05

Sino-Platinum Metals Co.,Ltd. disclosed during an investor survey that its subsidiary, Guiyan Electronics, is a core player in China's precious metal powders and pastes sector. The company's primary products include silver powders, silver pastes, and specialized precious metal powder pastes, where gross profit margins vary significantly due to differing technical complexities in processing, aligning with typical characteristics of the precious metal new materials manufacturing industry. Ordinary silver powder products have a processing margin of around 10%, a relatively low level. Silver pastes processed from self-produced silver powders show improved margins compared to silver powders. Photovoltaic-grade silver pastes and other specialized precious metal powder pastes, which face higher technical barriers, demonstrate a more pronounced increase in processing margins due to greater process complexity and added product value.

Guiyan Electronics is recognized as a leading domestic manufacturer in the precious metal powder and paste field, with a comprehensive product portfolio and strong technical capabilities that place it in the industry's top tier. The company noted that due to the lack of an authoritative, unified market share measurement standard in the industry, precise market share data cannot be disclosed at this time.
