Jun 16

On June 16, Han's CNC rose 3.97% in regular trading, trading at 178.1 HKD/share, with turnover of HKD 124 million. The rally was driven by a Citi research report catalyzing fresh buying interest alongside continued PCB industry expansion momentum.

According to the Citi report, Han's CNC has successfully supplied ultrafast laser drilling equipment to SLP enterprises including AKM Meadville and Compeq for 1.6T co-packaged optics (CPO) applications. These clients previously relied on Mitsubishi Electric's CO2 laser drilling machines, which carry lead times of up to 12 months, and have now shifted to Han's CNC ultrafast laser solutions, opening significant domestic substitution opportunities.

Meanwhile, the PCB industry expansion wave continues to intensify. As of June 11, 13 PCB manufacturers have announced capacity expansions this year with total investment exceeding RMB 60 billion. The company reported Q1 revenue growth of 103.69% year-over-year and net profit growth of 176.53%, validating robust AI infrastructure demand. Daiwa previously initiated coverage with a Buy rating and a HKD 207 target price.
