Aztech Global Ltd. booked a net profit of S$9.4 million for the six months ended Jun 30, 2026, down 41.7 per cent year-on-year, as lower shipment volumes to existing customers more than offset gains from new projects and a one-off property disposal. Revenue fell 18.4 per cent to S$151.4 million.

Earnings per share slipped to about 1.2 Singapore cents from 2.1 cents a year earlier. The board declared a one-tier tax-exempt interim cash dividend of 0.5 cent a share, equivalent to a 41.3 per cent payout ratio, payable on Aug 12, 2026.

Second-quarter revenue rose to S$86.7 million, helping lift the period’s EBITDA margin to 9.9 per cent. The half-year bottom line included a S$2.5 million gain from the divestment of a Dongguan property, partly cushioning a S$2.8 million foreign-exchange loss linked to a weaker US dollar and softer interest income following lower rates.

Management attributed the topline contraction mainly to intensified competition that weighed on orders from long-standing customers. Cash generated from operations reached S$13.2 million, supporting free cash flow of S$12.9 million even after paying S$84.9 million in FY2025 final and special dividends during April. Net cash stood at S$190.6 million, while net asset value per share fell to 28 cents from 38 cents at end-2025.

The group sealed 13 new product orders and brought another 13 projects into commercial production in the half-year, bringing four new customers on board across security, consumer and renewable-energy markets. It is also pursuing opportunities in renewable energy and MedTech, and advancing in-house Intelligent Lighting and Vision Technology solutions to broaden its revenue base.

Looking ahead, Aztech foresees softer customer demand in the second half amid macroeconomic and geopolitical uncertainties, currency volatility and cost pressures. Nevertheless, it expects to remain profitable for FY2026 and will retain a focus on disciplined execution, cost management and supply-chain agility.

Executive chairman and chief executive Michael Mun said the company is making headway in customer acquisition and project development despite a difficult operating landscape. He noted that maintaining a lean structure while expanding the customer and product portfolio remains central to reinforcing Aztech’s long-term growth platform.
