The "AI Creates" Anhui artificial intelligence event series has arrived, aiming to accelerate breakthroughs in AI technology and the large-scale implementation of industrial applications, comprehensively empowering the digital, intelligent, and green transformation of various industries.

On October 9, at a press conference for the Anhui artificial intelligence event series brand, it was announced that the "AI Creates" event brand, led by the provincial Department of Science and Technology, consists of the "AI Creates Competition," the "15th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Artificial Intelligence Innovation Application Special Competition," and the "National General Artificial Intelligence Innovation Application Competition," forming a complete AI innovation chain of "creativity—application—frontier."

The AI Creates Competition is led by the University of Science and Technology of China and organized by the Center for Scientific Intelligence and Material Creation. It targets students and young researchers from universities and research institutions worldwide, supporting innovation and entrepreneurship based on the AI4S platform. It features 18 frontier tracks including life sciences and health, energy materials, and advanced polymers, aiming to break down the three major barriers of knowledge, capability, and resources, and promote equality in knowledge, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Using the competition as a driving force to attract, gather, and nurture talent, the goal is to build an internationally influential professional event.

The 15th China Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Artificial Intelligence Innovation Application Special Competition is co-hosted by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the Anhui Provincial Department of Science and Technology, and organized by China Telecom Anhui Company, the Hefei Intelligent Robot Research Institute, and other units. It targets high-tech enterprises, technology-based small and medium-sized enterprises, and innovation and entrepreneurship teams nationwide, with two groups: enterprise group and team group. Focusing on AI innovation technology and large-scale AI applications, it leverages the project reserve and incubation system advantages of the national-level innovation and entrepreneurship competition to promote more high-quality projects to land in Anhui and strengthen industrial investment attraction.

The National General Artificial Intelligence Innovation Application Competition is hosted by the China Computer Federation and has been held in Anhui for three consecutive sessions. It targets talent teams from universities and research institutions nationwide, closely following the evolution direction of general AI technology and focusing on frontier technologies such as large models and intelligent agents. It guides participating teams to pursue "from 0 to 1" original innovation and "from 1 to N" implementation and transformation, striving to create the "Olympics" of the AI field and promote the introduction and cultivation of industrial talent.

The three competitions each have their own focus and complement each other, jointly polishing Anhui's AI event brand. The AI Creates Competition focuses on "leadership," positioned as an international professional event leading frontier creativity. It fully leverages the Center for Scientific Intelligence and Material Creation's advantage of gathering global resources, inspires AI4S creativity among researchers worldwide, and enhances Anhui's international influence in AI4S. The AI Innovation Application Special Competition focuses on "attracting business," positioned for industrial application implementation. The National General AI Innovation Application Competition focuses on "attracting talent," positioned for breakthroughs in frontier technology applications. It leverages the China Computer Federation's nationwide member network and talent resource advantages to create an "Olympics" in the AI field for universities and research institutions nationwide.

According to reports, the three competitions adhere to the principle of being open to society and open to all. Various entities including young students, researchers, technology enterprises, and innovation and entrepreneurship teams can register through the official channels of each competition. Important segments such as finals at all levels, semifinal roadshows, and award ceremonies will be open to the public.
