Xiaomi Group-W (01810) saw its stock price jump more than 9% in Hong Kong trading on Tuesday. As of the latest update, shares were trading at HK$31.94, representing a 9.16% gain with a trading volume of HK$8.892 billion.

The surge comes as the company prepares to hold its "Pengcheng Series" technology launch event on July 30 at 7 PM. This will be the second major tech conference organized by Xiaomi's electric vehicle division, where it will showcase the latest progress in its car-making technology. The event is expected to officially debut two new SUV models—the Pengcheng N90 and N70.

In addition to automotive developments, Xiaomi has been making significant strides in the robotics sector. The company reported that its humanoid robots have achieved a higher success rate in performing tasks within its self-developed factories and have begun taking on new logistics assignments. Xiaomi has also launched a unified generative model called "Xiaomi-Robotics-U0," which features 38 billion parameters, to address the scarcity of real-world data. Furthermore, it has introduced an embodied intelligence large model named "Xiaomi-Robotics-1."

Goldman Sachs notes that embodied intelligence is one of the three key monetization pathways for Xiaomi's AI strategy. The brokerage expects that over the next three to five years, Xiaomi's robotics efforts will focus on more structured B2B commercial scenarios, such as deploying humanoid robots at scale in Xiaomi's own factories—including those for smart electric vehicles, smartphones, and home appliances—as well as in partner facilities.

Goldman Sachs also highlighted that Xiaomi's electric vehicle business is generating revenue growth at a faster pace compared to industry peers. The launch of the new SkyNomad model is expected to improve sales visibility for the fiscal year 2027, leaving room for further valuation upside in the EV segment.
