Hims & Hers Health Inc. (HIMS) experienced a significant after-hours plunge of 8.41% following the release of its first quarter 2026 financial results. The stock movement occurred in post-market trading as investors reacted to the earnings report.

The telehealth company reported a first-quarter loss of $0.40 per share, which dramatically missed analyst expectations of a $0.04 per share profit. Revenue for the quarter came in at $608.1 million, falling short of the consensus estimate of $616.85 million. More concerningly, Hims & Hers swung to a net loss of $92.1 million for the quarter, compared to net income of $49.5 million in the same period last year.

The earnings miss was accompanied by several concerning metrics, including a gross margin decline from 73% to 65% year-over-year and a significant drop in Adjusted EBITDA from $91.1 million to $44.3 million. While the company raised its full-year 2026 revenue guidance to $2.8-$3.0 billion, the second quarter Adjusted EBITDA guidance of $35-$55 million appears to have disappointed investors, contributing to the after-hours selloff.
