Zebra Technologies shares surged 9.72% in pre-market trading on Tuesday, following the release of its second-quarter results that significantly surpassed analyst expectations.
The company reported adjusted earnings of $6.35 per share, beating the consensus estimate of $4.36 by over 45%. Quarterly sales reached $1.557 billion, topping the $1.497 billion forecast. The strong performance was further bolstered by an upbeat outlook: Zebra guided for 17% to 20% year-over-year sales growth in the third quarter and 14% to 16% growth for the full fiscal year 2026, both well above prior market views.
Additionally, Zebra projected full-year adjusted EBITDA margins of 23.5% to 24.0% and non-GAAP diluted earnings per share of $20.75 to $21.25, far exceeding the average analyst estimate of $18.56. The company also announced expectations for free cash flow exceeding $1 billion for the year.
