(NYSE: LMND), which utilizes artificial intelligence to deliver digital insurance services, has announced the launch of its renters insurance product in the state of Nebraska, effective immediately. Renters in the state can now obtain quotes, purchase policies, make adjustments, and file claims through the Lemonade mobile app. The company currently serves over 3 million customers across the United States.

According to the company, its renters insurance policies start at a monthly premium of $5, with rates approximately 30% lower than the national average. More than half of all claims can be processed instantly via AI. Customers can also qualify for additional discounts by bundling multiple insurance products, installing safety devices, or opting for annual payments.

Dan Timsit, Head of Renters at Lemonade, stated that renters deserve a seamless insurance experience. The company is bringing this service to Nebraska by streamlining the process, offering instant claims, and providing competitive pricing.

Lemonade currently has a customer base exceeding 3 million active users across the United States, the United Kingdom, and Europe. Its product offerings include renters, homeowners, pet, car, and life insurance. The company is also a certified B Corporation.
