San Miguel Brewery HK Expects 77.70% Interim Profit Slide to HK$11.40 Million on Geopolitical Headwinds

San Miguel Brewery Hong Kong Limited notified investors of a sharp downturn in interim earnings, projecting consolidated net profit of approximately HK$11.40 million for the six months ended 30 June 2026. The figure represents a 77.70% contraction from the HK$51.10 million recorded in the prior-year period.

Management attributed the decline primarily to the Iran conflict and heightened geopolitical tensions in the region, which suppressed export volumes and pushed up operating costs during the reporting period.

The company is finalising its unaudited interim results, scheduled for release on 27 July 2026, and urged shareholders and potential investors to exercise caution when dealing in its shares.
