ISDN Holdings Limited reported that profit attributable to shareholders surged 2,973% year on year to 3.7 million Singapore dollars for the quarter ended Mar, 31 2026, driven by broad-based gains in its industrial automation and renewable energy businesses.
Group revenue grew 24.2% to 113.7 million Singapore dollars, while profit after tax rose 767% to 5.3 million Singapore dollars. Profit before tax climbed 281% to 7.8 million Singapore dollars. The net profit margin expanded to 4.7% from 0.7% a year earlier.
The industrial automation division, which contributed 94% of group turnover, generated 107.0 million Singapore dollars in revenue, up 23.4% year on year, with China accounting for 70.4% of the segment total. Southeast Asian sales, led by Singapore, increased 53% year on year, and China sales advanced 14%. Segment gross profit improved 26.1% to 25.7 million Singapore dollars.
Renewable energy revenue climbed 39.3% to 6.7 million Singapore dollars, mainly reflecting 4.9 million Singapore dollars in construction income from two mini-hydropower projects in Indonesia that are scheduled for commissioning later in 2026. Revenue from three operating hydropower plants fell 39.0% to 1.8 million Singapore dollars due to atypical weather conditions, which the company said have since normalised.
Looking ahead, ISDN expects sustained demand for industrial automation in China and Southeast Asia, supported by growth in artificial intelligence, datacentres, semiconductors and energy storage, as well as ongoing supply-chain diversification. The company also forecasts additional recurring income once the Lau Biang 2 and Lau Biang 3 hydropower plants come onstream this year.
