Prudential details recent share repurchases and cancellations

Prudential plc announced that it cancelled 249,962 ordinary shares on Jul, 17 2026 following their repurchase on Jul, 15 2026 at an average price of GBP 10.6781 per share, trimming its issued share capital by 0.009968% to 2,507,424,714 shares.

In addition, the company reported that 599,014 shares bought back on Jul, 16 2026 at GBP 10.568 per share and 267,123 shares acquired on Jul, 17 2026 at GBP 10.4703 per share have not yet been cancelled.

The Jul, 17 2026 purchase was executed on the London Stock Exchange, with 267,123 shares repurchased at prices ranging between GBP 10.35 and GBP 10.585, for a total consideration of approximately GBP 2.80 million. All of these shares are earmarked for cancellation.

Under the repurchase mandate granted on May, 14 2025, Prudential is authorised to buy back up to 262.67 million shares. To date, it has repurchased 105.61 million shares under this mandate, equivalent to about 4.055% of its issued share capital at the mandate date. The mandate imposes a moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales until Aug, 16 2026.
