At the 2026 World Robot Conference (WRC 2026), held on the evening of August 19, XinYan Group officially presented its home-oriented proactive AI companion robot, Bubbo 1, marking its first public debut with comprehensive, real-world interactive sessions available to attendees.

Positioned by the company as a "genuinely AI-driven home companion," Bubbo features a plush, huggable design standing 65 centimeters tall. Its core philosophy centers on delivering proactive companionship with a sense of propriety, meaning it understands when to engage, when to stay silent, and how to respect personal boundaries within interactions.

Equipped with a suite of visual and auditory sensors, the robot perceives its surrounding home environment, identifies the emotional states of family members, and responds proactively while also knowing when to remain unobtrusively quiet. An integrated edge-cloud architecture enables Bubbo to provide instantaneous local responses while securely storing long-term memories in the cloud for personalized continuity.

Functionally, the device is engineered around the concept of "proactive intelligence," covering a diverse array of household scenarios. These include initiating caring conversations, capturing photographs, and facilitating foreign language practice. Its design specifically addresses needs such as parent-child engagement, elderly care and monitoring, companionship for individuals living alone, and graded conversational language learning for children.
