Yesway, Inc. (YSWY) saw its stock price soar 10% during intraday trading on Wednesday as the convenience store operator made its debut on the Nasdaq stock exchange.
The significant price increase came as Yesway shares opened at $22 per share, well above the initial public offering price of $20 per share. The company priced 14 million shares at $20 each, at the low end of its expected $20-$23 range, raising $280 million in the IPO.
Yesway's successful market debut reflects investor enthusiasm for the convenience store sector, which has seen strong performance among publicly-traded peers this year. The company operates 448 stores across nine U.S. states and reported a net profit of $54 million on revenue of $2.7 billion for the full year 2025.
