Shares of Knowledge Atlas (ASX: 02513) have surged more than 9%, extending a weekly gain of over 60%. At the time of writing, the stock was up 9.16% to HK$1,812, with a turnover of HK$2.032 billion.

The catalyst for the move is the company's recent release and open-sourcing of its new flagship large language model, GLM-5.2. On the Artificial Analysis comprehensive benchmark, GLM-5.2 scored 51 points, ranking as the state-of-the-art among open-source models. This model is reportedly the company's most capable open-source offering to date, making its 1 million token context window production-ready and advancing its long-context coding capabilities.

Analysts have highlighted the model's competitive edge. One report noted that compared to domestic rivals, the GLM model possesses a structural advantage in Agent engineering and practical deployment. The company's core coding-focused product, GLM-Coding Plan, remains in high demand even after an 83% price increase, demonstrating its strong pricing power.

Another analysis pointed out that as GLM achieves deeper penetration in foundational scenarios like coding and AI agents, paid token consumption is experiencing exponential growth. Concurrently, the company's ongoing optimization of inference costs is expected to improve its gross margin, highlighting impressive progress in its commercialization efforts.
