Environmental Performance • Greenhouse-gas emissions edged up 1.5% to 4,336.35 tCO₂e after the inclusion of a new German site, yet carbon intensity fell to 0.02 tCO₂e per USD thousand of revenue (2024: 0.03). • Total energy consumption rose 13.0% to 8.10 million kWh; intensity increased marginally to 44.91 kWh per USD thousand of revenue. • Hazardous-waste intensity improved to 0.000049 t per USD thousand of revenue, meeting the company’s annual reduction target, while non-hazardous-waste intensity was maintained at 0.0013 t. • Scope 3 emissions from business travel were 1,706.25 tCO₂e, bringing combined Scope 1-3 emissions to 6,042.60 tCO₂e. • Water use totalled 26,433 m³ with unchanged intensity of 0.15 m³ per USD thousand of revenue. • The group switched to electric or hybrid vehicles at its Hong Kong headquarters and Shenzhen plant, joined Hong Kong’s “Energy Saving Charter 2025” and introduced electronic instructions for use (eIFU) in Japan and the US, cutting printed materials by an estimated 5.48 t.
Social Indicators • Headcount increased 11.0% to 1,477, spanning 30% APAC (ex-PRC & Japan), 53% PRC, 8% Japan, 9% EMEA and the US. • Overall employee turnover was 13%; 95% of staff received training averaging 16.21 hours. • No work-related injuries or fatalities were recorded for the third consecutive year. • Community investment reached USD 0.19 million, supporting child-heart-disease research, public heart-health campaigns and youth-development projects.
