LOPAL TECH's stock soared 6.00% during intraday trading on Wednesday, reflecting strong investor interest.

The surge follows the company's announcement of a legally binding term sheet signed through its wholly-owned overseas subsidiary with Australian lithium miner GL1. The deal involves a $75 million prepayment plus equity subscription to secure stable lithium supply from the Manna lithium mine in Western Australia for the next ten years, strengthening upstream feedstock security for its lithium iron phosphate cathode material business.

Additionally, the company issued a Q1 earnings preview projecting revenue of RMB 3.3 to 3.6 billion, representing year-over-year growth of 107% to 126%, with net profit estimated at RMB 200 to 250 million, marking a turnaround from consecutive annual losses. The improvement is driven by significant volume and revenue gains in the lithium iron phosphate segment as scale efficiencies materialize. The broader lithium mining sector is also benefiting from industry-wide low inventory levels, robust downstream demand from energy storage and EV exports, and tightening supply due to mining shutdowns and export restrictions.
