WINSHINE SCI (00209) Issues Profit Warning, Anticipates Annual Loss Attributable to Shareholders Not Exceeding HK$95 Million

WINSHINE SCI (00209) announced that, compared to a loss of approximately HK$73 million recorded for the year ended December 31, 2024, the group expects to report a loss attributable to company owners of not more than HK$95 million for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025. The anticipated increase in loss is primarily attributable to (i) a decline in revenue and profit. This is due to the additional tariffs imposed by the United States on Chinese imports during the first half of the 2025 fiscal year, leading to a continuous decrease in order volume from US customers and a sharp reduction in gross profit contribution from US sales; and (ii) rising minimum wage and social insurance costs in China.
