Nearly 500 companies from ASEAN member states and non-regional countries have confirmed their participation in the upcoming trade expo, according to the China-ASEAN Expo (CAEXPO) Secretariat on August 17.

The 23rd CAEXPO is accelerating its preparatory work, with confirmed exhibitors from ASEAN and outside the region totaling nearly 500. The product categories have expanded rapidly from traditional sectors like food, beverages, and consumer goods to high-value-added emerging fields such as artificial intelligence and digital communications. This shift is expected to help optimize and upgrade the China-ASEAN trade structure.

This year's edition is expected to host over 3,000 exhibitors in total, with more than 30,000 professional buyers in attendance. Among the prominent participants, several Fortune Global 500 companies, including China Datang Corporation, Bank of China, and PT Pertamina (Persero), have confirmed their presence, marking an increase of approximately 30% compared to the previous edition.

Over 70 high-growth and innovative enterprises—such as Gazelle firms, Unicorns, specialized "Little Giant" companies, and manufacturing champions, including DJI and Maiyue Technology—will also exhibit collectively. This further highlights the CAEXPO platform's strong appeal to high-quality innovation resources.

A significant release of innovation achievements is expected, with the expo set to showcase approximately 300 new products and 200 new technologies. These will cover frontier sectors such as digital technology, intelligent manufacturing, and green low-carbon development, collectively demonstrating the latest trends in regional industrial upgrading.

Procurement groups are also increasing in both quantity and quality. Over 30 institutions from China have confirmed they will send delegations, while nearly 40 foreign institutions have expressed their intention to do the same. Economic and trade matchmaking activities have already been fully launched.

Over 22 years of development, the CAEXPO has accumulated a total of nearly 50,000 participating companies and over 1.5 million buyers, establishing itself as a practical platform for promoting regional economic integration. The 23rd CAEXPO is scheduled to take place from September 17 to 21.
