L.K. Technology Holdings Limited has released its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report for the year ended 31 March 2026, covering operations that generate more than 75% of Group revenue across mainland China, Taiwan and Italy.
Environmental Metrics and Targets • Scope 1 greenhouse-gas emissions fell 32.7% year on year to 3,156.66 tCO₂e (FY2025: 4,693.03 tCO₂e), driven by process optimisation and fuel-efficiency measures. • Scope 2 emissions rose 12.2% to 71,778.44 tCO₂e, reflecting higher electricity consumption as production volumes increased; total power use reached 136,603.47 MWh, up 14.7%. • The Group generated 2.40 million kWh of solar power, helping temper the rise in purchased electricity. • Hazardous wastewater intensity was held flat year on year, while hazardous solid-waste intensity fell by 2.0%, meeting the annual reduction target. • Non-hazardous wastewater discharge declined 15.2% to 344,702 tonnes; non-hazardous solid waste rose 13.7% to 5,090.77 tonnes as output expanded. • Fuel-saving initiatives include route optimisation, hybrid fleet rollout and stricter anti-idling rules; LPG use fell 0.7% to 102,612.80 litres, while diesel consumption dropped 38.1% to 720,262.30 litres.
Climate Governance and Risk Oversight The Board retains ultimate accountability for ESG matters and has embedded climate considerations into strategic planning. An independent consultant supports data collection and materiality assessments, while functional departments implement action plans aligned with Board-approved targets.
Resource Efficiency Measures • ISO 14001 certification now covers facilities in Italy, Ningbo, Shenzhen and Taiwan. • Energy audits guide equipment upgrades; frequency drives on compressors and increased water recycling in surface-treatment lines cut resource loss. • Paper-less office programmes and digital waste-management platforms underpin material-use reduction and traceability.
Workforce and Safety • Headcount rose to 6,029, with women representing 15% of employees and 17% of middle management. • The Group spent RMB 0.45 million on employee training, averaging 9.9 hours per person; 87% of male and 77% of female staff received training. • One work-related fatality occurred; lost-time injury days decreased 37.8% to 3,035. • ISO 45001 certification now covers operations in Ningbo, Shenzhen, Taiwan and Italy, reinforcing occupational-safety standards.
Supply Chain and Product Responsibility • Active supplier base totalled 2,610, of which 77% are located in mainland China; all tier-1 vendors undergo ESG and quality audits one to two times a year. • Customer-service enhancements included stricter 10-minute response pledges and expanded technical-training offerings; 377 product-related complaints were recorded (FY2025: 320), with no product recalls.
Community Investment Philanthropic contributions focused on education and disaster relief, with around RMB 1.00 million donated to schools, scholarships and vocational programmes, and more than RMB 0.65 million directed to emergency aid following the Hong Kong Tai Po fire.
