Guidewire's stock soared 5.26% in after-hours trading on Thursday, following the release of the company's second quarter fiscal year 2026 financial results.
The insurance software firm reported quarterly results that significantly exceeded analyst expectations across multiple metrics. Guidewire posted Q2 revenue of $359.1 million, beating the consensus estimate of $341.7 million, while adjusted EPS came in at $1.17 compared to the estimated $0.77. Adjusted net income reached $100.7 million, well above the $66.8 million estimate.
The company also raised its full-year revenue outlook to between $1.438 billion and $1.448 billion, up from its previous forecast and above analyst expectations. For the current third quarter, Guidewire provided revenue guidance of $352-358 million, topping consensus estimates. Company executives cited strong subscription revenue growth of 33%, AI-driven core system modernization, and durable demand for multi-year deals as key drivers behind the performance.
