ComfortDelGro Corporation Limited reported first-quarter 2026 revenue of 1.23 billion Singapore dollars, an increase of 5.0% from the same period a year earlier.
Operating profit excluding non-recurring items fell 17.6% to 66.3 million Singapore dollars, while profit after tax and minority interests declined 16.1% to 40.5 million Singapore dollars.
Public Transport remained the largest contributor, generating 814.5 million Singapore dollars in revenue and 37.7 million Singapore dollars in operating profit, supported by London bus contract renewals and higher Singapore rail fares and ridership.
The Taxi and Private-Hire segment recorded revenue of 239.7 million Singapore dollars and operating profit of 17.1 million Singapore dollars, with management citing intensified competition in the mass-market business-to-consumer space and softer airport transfer demand in the United Kingdom.
Inspection and Testing Services delivered operating profit of 12.1 million Singapore dollars, up 34.4% year over year, driven by Electronic Road Pricing 2.0 on-board unit installations.
As at Mar, 31 2026, the group held cash and short-term deposits of 929.2 million Singapore dollars and reported net debt of 659.9 million Singapore dollars, implying a net-gearing ratio of 17.9%.
Management said it is accelerating integration across businesses, strengthening artificial-intelligence and autonomous-vehicle capabilities, and pursuing further international rail and metro tender opportunities.
