Apr 28

Sinopec Shanghai Petrochemical Company Limited informed non-registered shareholders that, further to its 29 August 2024 notice, all corporate communications—including directors’ reports, annual and interim reports, meeting notices, circulars and proxy forms—will be provided exclusively in electronic format.

Both the English and Chinese versions of future documents will be accessible on the company website (www.spc.com.cn) and the HKEXnews platform (www.hkexnews.hk). Printed copies will no longer be dispatched except in two circumstances:

1. Actionable Documents If a functional email address is not supplied to the shareholder’s bank, broker, custodian, nominee or HKSCC Nominees Limited, the company will send actionable corporate communications in hard copy until an email address is recorded.

2. Explicit Hard-Copy Request Shareholders preferring printed materials may submit the reply form to Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited (17M Floor, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen’s Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong) or email spc.ecom@computershare.com.hk, stating their name, address and the request for hard copies.

Enquiries can be directed to the H-share registrar’s hotline on (852) 2862 8688 (Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., excluding public holidays) or via email at spc.ecom@computershare.com.hk.

The reminder was signed by Joint Company Secretary Liu Gang and dated 28 April 2026.
