Japanese stock markets are likely to remain in a range-bound trading pattern as uncertainty over the conflict involving Iran persists. Nikkei index futures on the Singapore Exchange rose 0.4% to 66,330 points. Investors are monitoring developments in the Middle East and crude oil prices following remarks from the US President threatening to destroy Iranian infrastructure if Iran attacks ships transiting the Strait of Hormuz. The Nikkei index fell 0.2% on Wednesday to close at 66,115.60 points.
