Reports have emerged regarding a personnel shift within Kuaishou's community science division.
Two senior technical executives, Li Han and Hong Liyin, have reportedly been reassigned and have now formally joined the Kling AI division, which is overseen by the company's Senior Vice President, Gai Kun.
Li Han, an alumnus of Tsinghua University with bachelor's and master's degrees in automation, previously held a key role at Alibaba where he led the development of deep tree matching algorithms, significantly enhancing the efficiency of recommendation systems.
He joined Kuaishou-W (HKEX: 1024) in 2019 as a Vice President of Technology, and earlier this year, he took full charge of two core business areas: the company's foundational large language model and its recommendation model, establishing himself as a leading figure in the firm's core algorithm development.
Hong Liyin is described as a seasoned veteran at Kuaishou, having long focused on platform growth and e-commerce algorithms, and possessing extensive experience in both mature technical R&D and team management.
The simultaneous transfer of these two technical leaders is expected to significantly bolster Kling's technical capabilities in areas including foundational large models, video generation, and commercial algorithms.
There has been no official comment from Kuaishou regarding these reports at this time.
