JD.com Reportedly Blocking PDD's Subsidy Program on Internal Network

Recent social media posts from an individual claiming to be a JD.com intern suggest that access to PDD Holdings Inc's "Billions in Subsidies" program has been restricted on the company's internal network. When connected to JD.com's corporate network, the intern reported that all activity within the PDD app disappeared, making it impossible to use the subsidy feature. The intern also inquired about when access might be restored.

Online commentators noted similar practices at other major tech firms. One user mentioned that during an internship at Qunar, they were unable to access hotel booking pages on Meituan's platform. Others observed that targeted blocking between large companies—such as Alibaba, Meituan, and Ctrip—based on IP addresses has long been an open secret in the industry.

As of press time, neither JD.com nor PDD Holdings Inc has responded to requests for comment.
