Wayfair Inc. (W) shares surged 6.04% in pre-market trading on Tuesday after the online home goods retailer reported second-quarter results that exceeded analyst expectations on both earnings and revenue.
The company posted adjusted earnings of $0.95 per share, topping the consensus estimate of $0.89. Revenue rose 7.5% year-over-year to $3.5 billion, also beating the expected $3.47 billion. Adjusted EBITDA came in at $242 million, above the $227.9 million forecast, while free cash flow reached $301 million—the strongest since 2020.
