Concord New Energy trims share count through May repurchases

Concord New Energy Group Limited reported that its issued share capital fell by 14.08 million ordinary shares during May 2026, after it cancelled stock bought back on the market.
At the end of the month, the company had 7.864 billion ordinary shares in issue, compared with 7.878 billion a month earlier. Authorised share capital remained unchanged at 10 billion ordinary shares and 2.5 billion preference shares.
The repurchases were executed on May 22 2026 at prices ranging from HK$0.2349 to HK$0.258 per share and have all been cancelled. Concord New Energy confirmed that it continued to meet the minimum 25 per cent public-float requirement as of the period’s close.
