TONGDA GROUP (00698) has unveiled its interim results for the 2026 fiscal year, posting a revenue of HK$2.357 billion, which reflects a year-on-year decline of 5.1%. The company's profit attributable to shareholders stood at HK$49.259 million, representing a decrease of 22.33% compared to the same period last year, with earnings per share at HK$0.25.

According to the company's announcement, the sales downturn was primarily driven by a sluggish consumer market, which adversely impacted customer orders within the consumer electronics structural components segment. Despite this headwind, the steady growth observed in the home and sporting goods business, supported by stable client relationships and long-term cooperation agreements with these customers, managed to partially offset the overall decline in group revenue.
