Chevron Products Company, a division of Chevron (NYSE: CVX), is set to broaden its reach across the North American base oil market through newly signed agreements with HF Sinclair Lubricants & Specialty Products and Renkert Oil. The expansion aims to strengthen the company's supply chain and customer access across the continent.
Starting May 1st of next year, HF Sinclair Lubricants & Specialty Products will serve as the exclusive distributor for Chevron's Group II base oils across Canada and within Chevron's existing customer territories in the United States. Additionally, HF Sinclair will hold non-exclusive distribution rights for Group II base oils in several other regions of the US. This partnership is designed to deepen Chevron's penetration in key markets.
Meanwhile, Renkert Oil will continue its role as a full-territory distributor for Chevron's Paralux and Paramount process oils across the United States, Canada, and Europe. The company will also supply Nexbase Group III base oils in both the US and Canada. Furthermore, Renkert Oil will distribute Chevron's Group II base oils throughout the entire United States, covering areas not served by HF Sinclair. By combining these complementary regional and product-focused strategies, Chevron expects to significantly enhance its overall customer coverage across North America.
