Haitong International Securities Company Limited—classified as a Class (1) associate acting in concert with the offeror—reported that on 12 August 2026 it unwound a lending transaction involving 755,000 ordinary shares of Guotai Junan International.
Following the unwinding, Haitong International’s aggregate holding (including any concert-party interests) rose to 168.37 million shares, representing 1.77 % of Guotai Junan International’s issued share capital. All dealings were conducted on Haitong International’s own account, and the firm is ultimately owned by Guotai Haitong Securities Co., Ltd.
