Black Sesame (02533) surged over 7% during trading, with shares up 6.40% as of press time, currently priced at 12.30 Hong Kong dollars, and a turnover of 99.49 million Hong Kong dollars.
Recently, the company released its first-half earnings forecast. Revenue for the first half of 2026 is expected to exceed 458 million yuan, marking a year-on-year increase of over 81.1%. The net loss is projected to be no more than 820 million yuan, roughly flat compared to the same period last year.
The rapid revenue growth is primarily driven by breakthroughs in two key business areas: robot-related solutions, modules, and chips are accelerating their deployment. The company has become a long-term partner for leading domestic robot manufacturers, with revenue contributions significantly higher than the same period last year. Additionally, advanced driver-assistance solutions are seeing sustained mass production and delivery in the passenger vehicle market, while the installation rate of L2 to L3 level driver-assistance systems in commercial and specialized vehicles has increased notably year-on-year.
