On August 20, at the 2026 World Robot Conference's "Scenes Link the Future" JD.com Intelligent Robot Industry Ecosystem Conference, Chengdu Industry and Trade Vocational College, together with JD.com and partners from the embodied intelligence industry, jointly launched the "JD.com Embodied Intelligence Industry-Education Co-creation Initiative."

This initiative aims to focus on three key areas—scenario co-creation, industrial collaboration, and talent cultivation—to build a benchmark project integrating industry and education in embodied intelligence, thereby supporting the high-quality development of the sector.

At its core, the plan is driven by the principles of "co-building scenarios, co-promoting industry, and co-cultivating talent," with a focus on advancing three major actions. First, the scenario co-creation initiative will promote the implementation of training facilities, data collection, production assembly, and campus application scenarios, converting real industrial needs into practical settings that can be taught, trained, and validated. Second, the industrial collaboration initiative will unite universities, robotics companies, and JD.com's ecosystem partners to deepen the integration of industrial resources with educational resources. Third, the talent acceleration initiative will establish a collaborative talent development system, covering areas such as joint program development, course design, practical training, and faculty training.

To ensure talent development aligns closely with industry needs, Chengdu Industry and Trade Vocational College and JD.com will prioritize three collaborative models. These include building data collection bases that conduct standardized data collection and application validation in real business scenarios like industrial control and logistics distribution; establishing intelligent robot production and assembly centers that bring real production tasks from ecosystem partners into the campus, enhancing students' hands-on skills in equipment assembly, debugging, and maintenance; and developing robot brain algorithm training facilities and pilot bases, creating comprehensive platforms that integrate practical teaching, science education, technology testing, and application validation.
