Four public fund arms under Guotai Haitong post strong first-half results, with HFT Fund's earnings nearly doubling

On August 18, Guotai Haitong Securities Co., Ltd. (referred to as GTHT) released its 2026 semi-annual report, achieving growth in both revenue and net profit. During the first half of 2026, GTHT recorded total operating revenue of RMB 47.163 billion, a year-on-year increase of 97.56%. Net profit attributable to shareholders of the parent company reached RMB 20.260 billion, up 28.74% year-on-year, while net profit attributable to shareholders excluding non-recurring gains and losses stood at RMB 19.510 billion, surging 168.02% from the prior-year period.

The semi-annual report also disclosed the first-half performance of GTHT's four public fund management subsidiaries. Specifically, HFT Fund posted operating revenue of RMB 717 million in the first half, a year-on-year increase of 98.07%, with net profit of RMB 209 million, up 97.17%. As of the end of June 2026, HFT Fund's total assets under management reached RMB 661.85 billion, an increase of RMB 96.213 billion compared to the end of last year, while its public fund scale grew to RMB 310.834 billion.

Fullgoal Fund generated operating revenue of RMB 4.349 billion in the first half, up 89.25%, and net profit of RMB 1.143 billion, an increase of 78.87%. By June 2026, Fullgoal Fund's total AUM had surpassed RMB 2.2 trillion for the first time. Its public fund management scale reached RMB 1.48 trillion, up 9.5% from the end of last year, with non-money market public fund scale at RMB 1.03 trillion, a 15.9% increase over the same period.

Hua'an Fund reported operating revenue of RMB 1.916 billion in the first half, a gain of 22.97%, alongside net profit of RMB 565 million, up 13%. As of the end of June 2026, Hua'an Fund's total AUM stood at RMB 915.703 billion, an increase of RMB 27.393 billion from the end of last year. However, its non-money market public fund scale declined by RMB 7.233 billion to RMB 522.847 billion.

GTHT Asset Management achieved operating revenue of RMB 1.625 billion in the first half, up 71.41%, with net profit of RMB 333 million, a rise of 31.1%.
