A freight train loaded with 3,500 tonnes of imported iron ore departed smoothly from Canggang Railway's Yang'erzhuang Park Station on August 7, heading via the Canggang Railway and the Beijing-Shanghai Railway towards the steel enterprise cluster in central and southern Hebei.

This successful departure marks the official launch of a new iron ore transport corridor connecting Huanghua Port through the Beijing-Shanghai Railway to central and southern Hebei, further enhancing the regional bulk cargo logistics transport system.

Historically, the railway evacuation of imported iron ore from Huanghua Port relied primarily on the Handan-Huanghua Railway and the Canggang-Shuohuang Railway. To improve the Huanghua Port collection and distribution system, optimize logistics planning, and precisely serve inland enterprises, Canggang Railway Co., Ltd. focused on the steel industry agglomeration areas in Shijiazhuang, Xingtai, and Handan in central and southern Hebei. Collaborating with the Beijing Bureau of China Railway, they meticulously refined all process links, including transport connections, scheduling organization, and cargo transshipment, successfully establishing a new sea-rail intermodal route for imported iron ore from Huanghua Port to reach central and southern Hebei via the Beijing-Shanghai Railway.

Looking ahead, Canggang Railway Co., Ltd. plans to cooperate with the Shuohuang Railway to develop the iron ore transport market in central and southern Shanxi, aiming to open another new iron ore transport corridor from Huanghua Port via the Shuohuang Railway to this region.
