Beijing Digital Telecom Co., Ltd. (“Digital Telecom”) has released its 2025 Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) report, outlining progress in corporate governance, talent cultivation, green operations and anti-corruption. The Board approved the report on 31 March 2026.
Governance and Risk Control • The Board oversees ESG strategy through a three-tier working group, holding at least one ESG meeting annually. • Nine directors sit on the Board, of whom 33.30 % are independent and 33.30 % are female. • In 2025 the company held two shareholder meetings and four Board meetings. • Internal audits found no significant deficiencies in risk management and internal control systems.
Business and Supply Chain Highlights • Digital Telecom operated more than 670 outlets across 22 provincial-level regions and managed over 1,500 audited suppliers in 2025. • The photovoltaic equipment segment generated RMB672.64 million, representing 4.07 % of total revenue, after expansion into eight provinces and municipalities. • All products met national quality standards; no recalls were reported. Complaint resolution reached 100 % with customer satisfaction also at 100 %.
Human Capital Metrics • Total headcount stood at 2,615 (1,578 female, 1,037 male). • Average training hours per employee were 44, with 87 % of staff receiving training; general staff training coverage reached 92 %. • Senior management comprises 40 % women. • No work-related fatalities or injuries occurred during the year.
Environmental Performance • Total Scope 1 & 2 greenhouse-gas emissions were 1,197.85 tonnes CO₂-e, equal to 0.46 tonnes CO₂-e per employee. • Energy consumption totalled 2,724.25 MWh; water use was 4,593.11 tonnes. • Non-hazardous waste amounted to 50.07 tonnes, while hazardous waste (mainly toner cartridges and fluorescent tubes) was 0.24 tonnes. • All environmental targets for 2025—such as exclusive use of LED lighting and installation of water-saving faucets—were achieved.
Climate Strategy • Scenario analysis under IPCC and NGFS frameworks identified acute weather events as a modest near-term risk. • The company plans further investment in disaster-mitigation measures and will continue to track emissions intensity as its core climate metric.
Integrity and Compliance • Digital Telecom applies a zero-tolerance stance on bribery and fraud under its Anti-bribery Regulations and Integrity System. • No corruption cases or related litigation arose in 2025. • All Directors and employees signed compliance commitment letters during the year.
Community Engagement • Nearly 1,000 retail locations served as “care stations” during China’s college-entrance exam, and staff participated in volunteer fairs offering telecom services, demonstrating ongoing community-support efforts.
Digital Telecom states that it will maintain strict ESG oversight, deepen photovoltaic supply-chain involvement and continue improving resource efficiency and talent development in line with national “dual-carbon” objectives.
