In a separate transaction on Jul, 16 2026, the insurer repurchased an additional 599,014 shares on the London Stock Exchange for cancellation at prices ranging between £10.475 and £10.655, for a total consideration of about 6.33 million pounds (approximately 11.1 million Singapore dollars). These shares had not yet been cancelled as of the same date.
The repurchases form part of a mandate approved on May, 14 2025 that authorises Prudential to buy back up to 262.7 million shares. To date, the company has acquired roughly 105.3 million shares under the programme, equivalent to 4.04% of the share base at the time the mandate was granted. A moratorium on new share issues or treasury-share sales remains in effect until Aug, 15 2026.
