PBOC Sets Yuan Central Parity at 6.7367, 16 Pips Weaker

On October 8, the central parity rate of the Chinese yuan against the US dollar was set at 6.7367, representing a decline of 16 pips.
The probability that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates unchanged in October stands at 80.6%, according to the CME "FedWatch" tool, while the likelihood of a cumulative 25 basis point hike is 19.4%.
For December, the CME data shows a 21.7% probability that the Fed will hold rates steady, a 64.1% chance of a cumulative 25 basis point increase, and a 14.2% probability of a cumulative 50 basis point hike.
