Logitech International SA (LOGI) shares plummeted 10.90% in pre-market trading on Wednesday, extending a sharp after-hours decline that followed the release of the company's fiscal first-quarter results. The sell-off occurred despite the company reporting its tenth consecutive quarter of growth and delivering earnings that handily beat analyst expectations.

Investor sentiment soured after Logitech issued a weaker-than-expected revenue outlook for the fiscal second quarter. The company guided for sales between $1.19 billion and $1.22 billion, falling short of the $1.23 billion consensus estimate. Adding to the pressure, Logitech disclosed that a serious incident at a key semiconductor supplier's manufacturing facility in late June had forced a temporary closure. The disruption is expected to create a $20 million headwind in second-quarter net sales and could impact third-quarter sales by up to $200 million, raising concerns about the company's ability to meet future demand.

The negative reaction was amplified by broader analyst warnings. Morgan Stanley had previously flagged downside risk to revenue from weakening PC demand, while Bank of America downgraded the stock to underperform, citing expectations that rising prices for computers and gaming systems could suppress demand. The combination of the supplier incident, soft guidance, and cautious analyst commentary overshadowed an otherwise strong quarter in which Logitech posted adjusted earnings of $1.85 per share on revenue of $1.23 billion.
